| The Number Real Estate Agents have boomed! With the slower rate of home sales, and home transfers, many real estate agents have to become very competitive. This means many are offering finders fees for people to refer home buyers and home sellers. Here is the idea: 1. Get to know a good real estate agent. This can be the one that helped you to find your home. Get a few cards from them, and ask, "what is the real estate broker referral fee?" 2. Then get cards from other real estate brokers. It is easy, you toss a rock, and two or three real estate offices will be hit before the rock lands on the ground. ;) Go in, ask them if a finder's fee is offered, since you have a friend fence sitting. This might get the the real estate broker excited, but just tell them, you only want to refer good local real estate brokers. A business card right now(several in fact) should be OK. 3. Now with all the real estate broker business cards you have, write on the back, "A friend of 4. Keep the cards in your car. When you talk to someone, at work, or church, etc. and they mention they are looking to buy, or sell, you can recommend the the good real estate agent, and mention you have cards from several other local real estate brokers. Then give them the cards. That is it. Not much work at all, and you can really land a large real estate broker referral fee.
